Getting the Capella Host Name

    Introduction

    Many of the functions that can be carried out using the REST API on Docker or standalone Couchbase instance can also be used on a Capella Cloud instance (security restrictions permitting). Before you can talk to the cloud instance using the REST API, you will need the host name of the Capella instance.

    Find Your Capella Cloud HostName

    1. Sign in to your Capella instance.

      capella login

    2. Then click on the cluster you wish to access.

      capella select cluster

    3. Select the Nodes tab from the Cluster window which will display the Nodes information screen for your cluster. To copy the name of your node, click the Copy link at the far right of the table.
